What you will do
You will be a business partner to the Data and Research Services (DRS) management and leadership team, enabling metric-based decision-making for DRS operations and economics. The DRS Business Associate is expected to provide management information, analysis, and coordination support through:
- MIS and Analysis
- Analyze large data sets with the ability to draw conclusions and provide insights to stakeholders
- Support Senior Business Analyst in both ad hoc and standard PowerPoint & Excel reports
- Running weekly and monthly reporting and analysis, send key highlights to Leadership Team
- Work with developer to customize Tableau dashboards for different DR's cohorts & use cases
- Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data regularly
- Ensuring the base data is captured accurately (incl. billing and operations data)
- Own weekly billing process from Request Management System and send to Finance team
- Partner with the Finance team to understand the economics of the business and match it with ops data
- Interpret stakeholder business needs and translate them into operational requirements
- Working with Finance team on ad hoc requests and reconciling billing data with DRS internal data repository (RMS)
- Systems and Process
- Work with operational leaders within the business to provide recommendations on opportunities for process improvements
- Working closely with Process & Program Manager on improvements or enhancements from an operations perspective
- Go-to person for Request Management System operations questions
- Tracking vendor people changes, assisting with onshore/offshore logistics
- Managing vendor Sharepoint site and working with IT teams to ensure smooth onboarding of vendors
- Administrative
- Maintaining theoretical capacity of internal and external resources
- Managing out of office procedures on holidays, handling Capacity Manager and internal surveys
- Triaging ad hoc inquiries about process, training, and location of documents
- Maintenance of DRS Tableau Dashboards to ensure the metrics represented are correct
- Manage permissions for DRS Tableau dashboards
- Maintaining a central data repository for the Global team
- Updating DRS face-cards and new joiner onboarding decks
- Working on charge code changes from the team to be sent to Finance and updated in RMS
- Assist in creating agendas, meeting materials, and general logistics for regional/ global meetings
You are good at
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and basics of Tableau
- Strong proven interest and experience in data analysis, ability to tell a story from data
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and experience analyzing large, complex datasets
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with Tableau preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work independently with senior and global BCG members and peers
- Able to demonstrate presence and maturity, even in stressful situations
- Exceptional process and project management skills - exhibits strong follow-through and accountability

You bring (Qualification)
- 0-1 year of experience in working with a professional services firm
- Consulting or other professional service experience preferred; design / visual experience desirable
- Master's Degree or equivalent in business, or related field is highly preferred
- Experience with DS Knowledge/process systems is strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree or higher, ideally related to adult learning
- Strong creative analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to rapidly pick up new frameworks and concepts
- Strong fluency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, and Tableau proficiency preferred
