Your role

IIT Gandhinagar Chemical Engineering department is looking for B.E./B. Tech or ME/M.Tech/ students to join their research teams.

You will join the team as Junior Research Fellow and work on a project involving - “Explicit Stochastic Model Predictive Control for an Energy System under Operational Uncertainties”.

The project will involve the following:

• The candidate is expected to develop or implement explicit model predictive control on an energy system under operational uncertainties.
• Knowledge of Numerical Methods, Modeling and Simulation, Process Control, and Optimization is desirable. Computer programming skills in either MATLAB or Python are required.

Salary & benefits

• The consolidated pay is INR 31,000/- per month + HRA, as applicable (for B.Tech./B.E. with a valid GATE score and M.Tech./M.E.).
• The consolidated pay is INR 25,000 per month + HRA, as applicable (for B.Tech./B.E. without a valid GATE score). (Source: IIT GN)

About you

Qualification:

• B.Tech/B.E. or M.Tech./M.E. in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Civil Engineering with at least 70% marks or a 7.0 CGPA.
• Duration: 1 year (extendable based on performance and/or funding availability).
